The Crazies: Theatrical Trailer

The Crazies: Theatrical TrailerA remake of the film is currently in production and is set to be released on February 26, 2010. Much of the film will take place in the town of Perry, Georgia, the home of the Georgia National Fair. Some of the filming will actually be done in the fairgrounds, some around the town in small suburbs such as Elko, Georgia. Additional scenes are filmed in the Fountain Carwash in Macon, Georgia. Breck Eisner announced in February 2008 that he would direct a remake of the film. A portion of the remake is also being done in Lenox, Iowa. They have turned a bank into the sheriff's office, done a lot of "main street" shots and filmed at the school and baseball field there. Filming began in April 2009.

The cast includes Timothy Olyphant and Radha Mitchell. Danielle Panabaker and Joe Anderson were added to the cast on March 3.
